This scripture portrays the way in
which we should help our
neighbor.
God expects us to help those who
are weaker than we are without
taking glory for ourselves or for
another selfish reason. He expects
us to help our neighbor strictly for
the purpose of building up the
person who we help into a
stronger person. We, as believers,
are interested in building ourselves
to please God. We should
equally be interested in helping to
build our neighbor to worship
and serve God in a better way.
